About Us

RYE Haven LLC is a family lavender (+ more!) farm in Albright, West Virginia in Preston County. The RYe in RYe Haven stands for Reese Yanchak essentials.
The owners (Chad Reese and Margaret Yanchak) along with their children use their 65 acre property to grow lavender and other select plants while also harvesting native flora to create natural products ranging from fresh and dried lavender, to cosmetic, beauty, pest control, pet and culinary items.
Both Chad and Margaret have advanced degrees in chemistry and have worked in the pharmaceutical industry for a combined 40+ years, using that knowledge base to create safe and quality products.
Courtney Reese, the eldest daughter, has been vital to working the property, creating new product ideas and doing most of the manufacturing work while Travis Reese takes care of the farm's apiary. The other children work the fields and gather the essential plants used to create our diverse product line.
We perform in-house distillations as well as cold and hot pressing to obtain the plants' essential oils to use as the basis for our product line. Come check out what we offer and feel free to send requests for new
